Lizard has three pedal assistance modes. Press the MODE button located left integrated controller to switch between PAS 0-3. Modes can be changed while riding.
2. How do I operate the lights? Where are the lights located?
Long press the + button located left integrated controller to operate the lights. There is one headlight & one taillight.
3. How do I power Lizard on/off?
Press the ON / OFF button located left integrated controller to operate the lights.
4. What type of terrain is Lizard appropriate for?
Suggestions are outlined below:
- 1: Regular paved surface where the tyres can maintain ground contact. Low slopes.
- 2: Unpaved and gravel roads. Reasonably smooth off-road trails. Medium slopes.
5. What is the target rider/audience for this product?
Usage: Daily on-road commuting. Recommended rider height: 170-195cm
6. Does the bike/scooter require tools for assembly or are they included? Will I need help assembling it?
The Lizard included a multi-function tool to help you assemble it. You will feel more comfortable if you have a wrench when you are installing the pedals. It’s recommended to assemble it with 2 people.
7. What is the recommended tyre pressure for Lizard?
The recommended tyre pressure is 40-60 (max) PSI
8. Can I ride my Lizard in the rain?
Although your Lizard can withstand rainy days, it is recommended to minimize exposure to rain when possible and to store your product under a roof.
9. Can I adjust the handlebar height?
Yes
10. There are multiple brakes, when should I use each? (May not apply to all products)
Generally, the proper braking technique is applying the rear brake, followed by the front brake. When releasing the brakes, release the front brake first, followed by the rear.
11. What tools will I need to tighten loose screws?
The Lizard included a multi-function tool to help you tighten loose screws
12. When will pedal assistance kick in?
Pedal assistance will start when the power and PAS mode is turned on and you begin pedalling
13. Does this Product come with app connectivity?
No.
14. Can I ride this in any temperature – what is the operating temperature range?
The recommended operating temperature is -10 – 50°C
15. Does the product need any special regular care, storage etc?
When you remove the battery to store it, make sure it is in a safe, climate-controlled space. If the bike is not used for a longer period, it is best to remove the battery from the bike. Charge when needed, at least every 3 months. When charging the battery, make sure it is in a dry location and be sure it’s in a place where it won’t cause a fire.
16. Can I take my electric bike over jumps or off high drops?
No, Lizard is not designed for taking over jumps and taking off high drops.
